David's Quote about which CU member requested clarification:

- My hope is that my (fellow) Americans who also hold a Biblical world view will take care to secure liberty at home. Though we can all agree that nobody knows the day or time, let's not partner with the scheme's of the evil one. Madison said, "securing liberty is the end of government." Let us not employ our government for securing things that at once destroy liberty. -

David's comments:

I gave an oath. It goes beyond my term of enlistment. "I will support and defend - the Constitution of the United States - against all enemies, foreign - and domestic - , to bear true faith and allegiance to the same; to obey the orders of the President of the United States, and the officers appointed over me, according to regulation and the Uniform Code of Military Justice; so help me God."

I, because of study and doing work to protect the Constitution, have found that the danger to our Constitution is greater domestically than it is from foreign invaders. We, together, memorialize my predecessors who have given the sacrifice of their lives in order to secure our liberty (not liberalize our security). Yet, most of us in America, sit comfortably in our living rooms watching tv. while the law of our land is being torn apart, and our government is increasing its powers beyond the limits of the federal and state constitutions. 'With domestic friends like that, who needs foreign enemies?'

Michael New refused to don the U.N. Beret and insignia. He was courts martialed and scorned by most of the public. However, Michael New stood true to his oath. The first part of it was to defend the Constitution. That came before the obedience to orders. He, as are all servicemen and women, was accountable to his oath to hold the value of the Constitution above the desires of his superior officers. They are inferior to the Constitution. Michael New told them he would not don the U.N. Uniform because the U.N. commanders that he would be subjecting himself to were not subject to, or loyal to, the United States Constitution. He told his superiors it would violate his oath. He asked them to show him how their order could possibly be lawful. If they could show him how it was lawful, he would obey. He took the shame and punishment as easily, yet painfully, as he would have taken a bullet from foreign enemies. A man I spent time with this morning is working with Michael New to exonerate him in federal court.

Chief Justice Roy Moore established a monument to the foundation of American law and the law of Alabama. It included the ten commandments among other things. He was not establishing the ten commandments, he was commemorating what established law in Alabama. A federal court told Alabama that they could not do such a thing. The federal court judges had to throw out the Ninth and Tenth Amendments to the U.S. Constitution to make such a finding. Judge Roy Moore refused their order. He interposed due to the fact that the federal judiciary had no jurisdiction over the issue, based upon Art. III, and the Bill of Rights. He stood for the Constitution at all cost like a soldier would at all cost. I spent time this morning with a man that is helping Judge Roy Moore and others who are working to preserve the law of the land in several states.

The Supreme Court in the Lawrence v. Texas case said that Texas had no right to outlaw sodomy. Another violation of the powers bounded by the Constitution. I spent time this morning with a man who fought on behalf of the Republic of Texas to preserve the law of their land.

Though distasteful, go back to 42 USC §666, ¶13.

It mandates the states (though it has no authority under the law - See Printz v. United States) to prohibit all people in America from marrying, driving, fishing, hunting, or working, unless they confess the Social Security Number.

Here is a quote from an April 11, 2003 letter from the Social Security Administration, from Charles H. Mullen, Associate Commissioner.

"The Social Security Act does not require a person to have a Social Security number to live and work in the United States, nor does it require a Social Security number simply for the purpose of having one."

If that is so, why can we do nothing without the number?

Why do those who have a religious conviction that they cannot identify themselves with a universal identifier, based upon Rev. 13 (a very valid conviction), not have any recourse under the law from being denied the opportunity to vote, work, drive, marry, fish, bank, hunt, ?????

If their liberty to not identify with the voluntary number is not protected, other people's right to not give a thumb print, retina scan, DNA, or ultimately a tattoo or computer implant, is also not protected.

Most with a wonderful evangelical Biblical world view are already acquiescing to being required to take a mark. They do it by mocking those who are humbly fighting for their very survival over the universal SSN issue. Their theological comfort over the SSN issue makes them miss the point. Consider the principles understood by the founders of this country. Read Jefferson's Act for Religious Freedom - http://leg1.state.va.us/cgi-bin/legp504.exe?000+cod+57-1.

"Whereas, Almighty God hath created the mind free; that all attempts to influence it by temporal punishment, or burthens, or by civil incapacitations, tend only to beget habits of hypocrisy and meanness, and are a departure from the plan of the Holy Author of our religion, who, being Lord both of body and mind, yet chose not to propagate it by coercions on either, as was in his Almighty power to do; that the impious presumption of legislators and rulers, civil as well as ecclesiastical, who, being themselves but fallible and uninspired men, have assumed dominion over the faith of others, setting up their own opinions and modes of thinking as the only true and infallible, and as such endeavoring to impose them on others".........that therefore the proscribing any citizen as unworthy the public confidence by laying upon him an incapacity of being called to offices of trust and emolument, unless he profess or renounce this or that religious opinion, is depriving him injuriously of those privileges and advantages to which, in common with his fellow citizens, he has a natural right; that it tends only to corrupt the principles of that religion it is meant to encourage, by bribing, with a monopoly of worldly honors and emoluments, those who will externally profess and conform to it; that though, indeed, those are criminal who do not withstand such temptation, yet, neither are those innocent who lay the bait in their way; that to suffer the civil magistrate to intrude his powers into the field of opinion, and to restrain the profession or propagation of principles on supposition of their ill tendency, is a dangerous fallacy, which at once destroys all religious liberty, because he, being of course judge of that tendency, will make his opinions the rules of judgment, and approve or condemn the sentiments of others only as they shall square with or differ from his own; that it is time enough for the rightful purposes of civil government, for its officers to interfere, when principles break out into overt acts against peace and good order; and finally, that truth is great and will prevail, if left to herself; that she is the proper and sufficient antagonist to error, and has nothing to fear from the conflict, unless by human interposition disarmed of her natural weapons, free argument and debate; errors ceasing to be dangerous when it is permitted freely to contradict them:" ....."nor shall be enforced, restrained, molested or burthened, in his body or goods, nor shall otherwise suffer on account of his religious opinions or belief;..."

What does it cost those who truly believe that the SSN is the number of the beast? All those things necessary in the ordinary course of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
