The
Deputy
Attorney General
J. Tim Thomas's attempt to evade scrutiny in the Idaho Supreme Court
has failed in the Larry Lewis v. Idaho Department of
Transportation case. He proposed that the Idaho Court allow the
Department of Transportation to identify Mr. Lewis by an SSN even
though Mr. Lewis claimed that he could not tolerate it due to his
religious prohibitions. The Court recently rejected the Attorney
General's motion and ordered that the oral argument scheduled for June
8th to proceed.
Herb Titus will argue on Larry Lewis's behalf.
