Gene McArthur - Denied Pesticide Applicator's License Because of 666

Since 2004, Mr. Gene McArthur has been trying to renew his application for a pesticide license so that he can continue to contract freely as a cropduster.  The Department of Agriculture has refused to renew his license on the basis of the federal welfare code 42 USC §666.  Gene made an appeal to the Texas Department of Agriculture.  We have helped Gene retain a lawyer in Austin, Texas, who was recommended to us by Herb Titus.  Herb is standing by to help, and providing some counsel to us as we work as a team to take on the obstacles to our liberty.

On May 7, 2007, Gene submitted a religious accommodation request along with his Pesticide Applicator's License.

On a separate matter, David Alan Carmichael began a dialogue with a Texas Workforce Commission's lawyer sending a comment the Commissions website.  The website indicated that religious exemptions were no longer availble for those who cannot identify themselves with an SSN on the basis of religion in order to obtain employment.  The Commissions lawyer responded by requesting  a policy opinion from certain federal agencies regarding the conflict between Treasury Department policies and the Federal Religious Freedom Restoration Act.  42 USC §2000bb.
